Roll Call 101

Lets hope. 3rd times the charm? I kinda know what to do now to make him more comfortable. Cuz i think his issue is more psychological than anything.

Hm, I wonder if it's set shortly after Enterprise. Voyager and TNG are almost in the same time frame. But Enterprise was set before the TOS, I think.

Both. He won't meet with me. He says he wants to know my goals. He says he thinks he's keeping me stuck. He says I slip into the traumatized child and punitive parent loop with him. He says he wants me in an IOP group with random drug tests

We were discussing this via a few emails yesterday. But he stopped responding. I think he wants me to go away but doesn't know how to break it to me

He has a baby being born soon. He's not as lonely and not as much of a workaholic anymore. So I'm just a pathetic POS that is a nuisance

You should give it a try. Although some of the eps in the last seasons or so could be a little silly.

I'm sure he still cares but he may have to place your best interests above his own personal wishes to remain friends with you. I'm sure its a tough position to be in......

My paranoia tells me he hates me. Hates my guts. It's hard to combat that especially since I can't even talk to him IRL.

It's probably mostly due to the drugs. Back when I was in long-term therapy, my t said she could not work with me while I was still a binge drinker. It was rough going in those days.

You two have been through so much together, there is no way that he hates you.

No way he hates you. But he has to stand by the rules, and can't work with you while you still take drugs. (Same as my t was when I was drinking.)

It sounds like you're lonely - that could be one of your goals. To not be lonely anymore.

That is one of my top goals but it's so much harder than just not being lonely. I struggle with anxiety and paranoia and trust... It's rare that I make friends anymore

I'm pretty sure my therapist is not my therapist anymore. So I just gotta figure it out on my own now

You don't know for certain. He just asked you what your goals are. It would seem he wants to help you, but only if you don't drink or drug. He doesn't think he's helping you when you need drugs to make the days seem bearable, and you're still using them.

I'm not using anymore. I'm going to a substance abuse assessment next Wednesday to get into an IOP group
