Many of us took them everyday or got in the habit badly.(I had a 6 month period around 10 years ago that I was taking 14 mg of Klonopin per day). It's incredibly bad to take them with alcohol, and still be smoking cigarettes with all the poisons. And you had gotten used to taking them with alcohol, back when you were drinking, and using Ambien too. You've come a very long way. So, yay for newtus!
Thanks for this!

Apparently anxiety and stress can make it worse, that's what my pdoc was saying.......

today was an interesting day
I started reading Flowers for Algernon because I read that book many years ago and I loved it so I am reading it again and I am falling in love with that book again

it feels nice to read again
I used to spend hours reading when I was younger, I would go to the library and get six or seven books and read them all in a week and bring them back to the library early for more

I love reading and I can't believe how much I missed it
Thanks for this!

Good evening everyone. How are things going?

Hugs to those that need them.

I'm okay. Slept from like 4pm till 3am...it's really bad. Oh well, at least my mood isn't bad.
Thanks for this!

Im feeling kinda paranoid. Nothing irrational, just like thinking about the meds and the side effects. Im scared they could be the cause of all my different physical ailments i have from time to time.

That's true. I can't speak for them because I'm not a doctor (They can't seem to agree on them anyways) or have an anxiety disorder (Anymore. Because I think I was misdiagnosed with OCD before).

Apart from the time that I took a whole bottle of Klonopin (46mg).

Other than that I've never had problems with the 6 different benzos I've tried.

Just the benzo withdrawal horror stories scare me..
Thanks for this!

i was on 1mg of Klonopin for about 2.5 years daily. My pdoc switched me to Valium at 10mg and it took me about 4 months for me to come off it, to prevent withdrawal symptoms...
Thanks for this!

Thanks! It was slow but I managed to avoid withdrawal symptoms for the most part. Now I only use it as needed for panic or high anxiety.
Thanks for this!

That's great you are getting into reading again. I haven't read for a couple of months now but I have been listening to audio books.

I read Flowers for Algernon at school. I don't remember very much about it anymore though.
