Ugh. That's not a very nice way to talk to you.

Well, anyway, I turned the wattage up and the voltage down but then I was getting dry hits, but I did manage to get a tiny amount of vapor for a little while. If I could only sit here with my vape and figure out the problem.

When I lived in Connecticut, I was on Medicaid, so I didn't have to worry about costs. However, I looked at it as a downside, because the limit on income was around 16,000 USD a year. It was better for me to only work 30 hours a week at minimum wage than try to get a job making 20-25K a year because the insurance and copay costs for me would've made it more expensive to live. The only way a better paying job for me would've worked well is if it was at least 40K a year or more, and that would've required me finishing my bachelor's degree, which was very difficult while working 30 hours a week.

The healthcare and education system in the United States makes it hard to move up the ladder. It keeps the poor poor, and the rich rich. I worked very hard to try and get my education over 6 years of work and never was able to finish.

My wife and I agreed it was better for us to stay in Finland for the time being, because there are pathways to the middle class here. You aren't punished for making more money with healthcare here. You aren't punished for education costs if you make more money. There are no tuition fees for school. I would much rather be in a system where I pay my share of taxes and have healthcare and education provided as a right, rather than a privilege.
Scandinavia has some of the happiest countries in the world. It was hard fought but the people won over the oligarchs there and made it a nice place to live for the majority. That's rare. That's always a struggle for countries, the rich versus the lower classes. It tears countries apart. It will always be an issue for any democracy.

The United States has a streak of rugged individualism ingrained into it's soul that finds socialism, like that found in Finland, repugnant. We see even with our education secretary that even public schools are controversial still and remain underfunded. Education is the bed rock for any republic of virtue to survive and if we don't take that seriously then we may hire incompetent people to govern us and not even know it.

Oh I got home from work at 7:30. I had a pretty rough day on ladders. I listened to a lot of nostalgic music from healthier times. Now I'm just doing laundry, watching the news, and surfing the web. I'll watch an episode of battlestar Galactica before I go to bed. I love that show

How many words per minute can you type? I can type at 40wpm minus errors. I make loads of errors because of my sausage fingers.

There was no Advil or Tylenol but there was Aspirin and my sister told me to take 2 (2x 500mg) because she said that it's better.

"For 50-year-old men, taking a full-sized, 325 mg aspirin every day to prevent heart disease and stroke carries a risk of 10.4 deaths per 100,000 men per year over and above their overall death risk".

"Daily Aspirin Linked To More Than 3,000 Deaths Per Year, Scientists ..."

I did some tests earlier today to practice and was getting a score of like 86 wpm with 97% accuracy.

The typing test at the company was specifically for data entry (filling out a spreadsheet basically) and I did 12712 kph with zero errors.
Thanks for this!

Hey, it’s still better than many. Most businesses want 40wpm.

I’ve been typing and doing data entry since I was a kid really starting on a Commodore 64 lol.

Just turned 29. My dad bought a Commodore 64 when I was little so I remember doing typing exercises and that on it.
