Coming off benzos for me was a really difficult process too. I went from Klonopin down to Valium (longer half life), and it took 4 months to come off 10 mg...

I've been trying to keep up with CES the whole time. Been fun watching. The only thing that's really caught my eye was AMD's focus on Ryzen 2/Threadripper 2 and plans for future Zen+ architecture. Intel better be scared.

I was the same. Everyone said I needed to be hospitalized but I didn’t go. I also had sick kids so going inpatient want an option imo.
Never so sick in my life. Hopefully never again.

It's almost a year since chickenfoot passed away. Still thinking of you...

Yes, she was such a personality. I just got to thinking about her because I was listening to Metallica and realised it was almost a year.

I had many great conversations with her.

Good evening/afternoon everyone. How are things going today?

Hugs to everyone in remembrance of chickenfoot. I never met her before she passed away, but she sounded pretty awesome.

I'm okay today. Got my school application in! Applying for six different degree programs. Now just a metric f*** ton of documents to send to each school.

afternoon, yesterday went well (shoutout to all the chains getting on the vegan pizza train) And i managed to sleep without even using anything. miracles do happen sometimes. im reading a depressing book from the cold war called on the beach about a bunch of people in australia waiting to be killed by the radiation from a global nuclear war and i dont know what brain goblin convinced me that it would be good for me. my dad wants to do a movie night with the movie based on it now. it haunted his nightmares as a little kid. maybe we can balance the existential horror with doctor strangelove or something.

I remember when i went camping. I got it all set up rested one day and then the next day i was greeted at my tent from a bunch of guys who claimed my camp site. I was suppose to take the spot to the left of the post not the right, and they refused to move, so i said f it and got a hotel room with a Jacuzzi in it for the remainder of the time. It was nice. I never did like camping, even thought i was a boy scout.

Enjoy your time!

I just can't sleep either. Apparently my mother and grandmother have difficulty too, they go to bed at 9pm and wont fall asleep until 1 am, then my grandmother wakes up at 6:30 am. I don't know how you can get 5 1/2 hours sleep and feel like it's a good time to get out of bed.

Benadryl makes me tired to a degree, but it doesn't knock me out. Do you take a sleep aid anymore?

Hope everyone is ok!
What computer games? I need to pick up another game soon. Too bad my little laptop just has an intel 620 graphic chipset. It's not compatible with Skyrim. White pixels show up everywhere, it's horrendous. Know of any story driven games i could play?

It really is quiet. I like Facebook for pics but prefer chatting here. I’m sure things will change again.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is what I've just started. Lots of fun.

It's pretty niche, but if you really like story driven RPGs then the other game I have to play is Pillars of Eternity. Very involved classic RPG style but I appreciate it's not everyone's cup of tea.

Maybe you could get one of the older Final Fantasy games on Steam? Those are a lot of fun. Sure they'd run fine on integrated graphics. My favourite of the older ones are VII and IX.

I don’t think I’ve posted on this new roll call yet.

I’ve been... okay I guess. Just working and sleeping and gymming and stuff.

I’ve been drinking more again lately. Don’t know why trying to stop it. Quash feelings I guess. I took a staple to my wrist yesterday don’t know why.

Maybe I’m not doing great I don’t know it’s hard to tell anymore.

Morning,

I'm not sure what I'm up to today. Currently just listening to some Metallica. Probably going to be a fairly quiet day.

Sometimes I think it's our actions that can speak more than anything else. It's easy to avoid feelings, at least for me, but then when I start doing things that say otherwise I know things aren't great.

So, here's some hugs...
