It’s possible the backlight on your monitor has died.....

It is old. Like almost 10 years old. But a blue screen comes up and says “hdmi 1: no signal”. So the monitor must be working right? If it shows anything at all.

Yes if there is something on there it’s fine.....how do you know that the computer itself hasn’t failed....like a hard drive or whatever....

I mean idk. I just bought this computer like earlier this month....

I called my stepdad. He thinks its the monitor.

I only bought a tower. It didnt come with anything except a keyboard.

Im gonna have to wait til my dad comes home and see if i can use his monitor...

But idk...

My laptop failed within a month....it was the motherboard...it should still be under warranty if it is your new tower.....

Yes it is. And i got a 3 year warranty on it.

My dads room is so hoarded. Theres stacks of papers and trash around his computer...

Theres no way im gonna be able to try it out.

i LITERALLY thought 12am was summoning a reason as to why my computer wasnt working with a doctor pepper. I didnt connect the dots but i thanked the post anyway.

She said unplug the computer for 15 seconds and wait and then plug it back in.

Problem solved.

That's usually the solution to most computer problems that is fixable at home for those who know little about computers.

That can be very true. At other times there can be purpose to the madness of simplicity in troubleshooting. Little things overseen even missed sometimes by technicians. I think of it as a flowchart starting simple and getting more complex if the problem isn't solved by easier means.

I’m awake getting ready for work though.

I am doing ok. I went out despite my voices and had a good time. I ate a club sandwich and had ice coffee, then had hot dutch apple pie with vanilla ice cream. I am happy!! I also splurged on lotions and uv face lotion. I am trying to look good which makes me feel good too. I am so tired now though. But, I am happy!! The voices did not bother me while I was out and also now they are decreasing in volume. I am doing well and will work tomorrow from early in the morning. Have a great day everybody!!

Working today then my daughter has an orthodontist appt and I have a pnp appt.
I have been looking up vacation packages lol. I was looking at Aruba, barbados, or Antigua but they are like $12000.00 lol like that will ever happen. But I can go to Puerto Rico relatively cheap.

The bf wanted to go to cancun before we talked about going to San Antonio. But he didnt realize we needed a passport.
