Sex offenders in jail...justifying themselves and explaining their reasoning. But also how they picked their victims and manipulated them. So disturbing.

Morning! 1 day!!! Omg. Santa !! So excited.
I’m getting baileys and schnapps today. I could go for some holiday spirits. Probably just nips I don’t like booze hanging around. Also getting French bread for my casserole and more coke.
I have like 4 buys to close this morning. Ugh so much work. I’m hoping to be done by 10 so I can do everything else. My husband cleaned my whole house yesterday! All I have to do is cook. Very happy.
I might even pluck my eyebrows for the holiday lol. I haven’t done that in forever. Shameful. I never used to let a hair out of place. Now I try to avoid mirrors as much as possible.

This my friends is a lie. It never gets easier or hurts less. Every year we stare at those empty chairs and memorials on the tree. We talk about them, we celebrate them, we miss them.

I found more for me!

We spent more money this year than ever before. I’m a little embarrassed about it. BUT I remind myself that throughout the year my kids buy most of their own “wants”. Obviously we do the needs (clothes and that kind of stuff) but the rest they do themselves. So screw it...why not spend the $$ we’re saving to make the present giving days memorable. Cant take it with you and all. And they are really good kids. My daughter was recently asked how she is “punished” and she responded “I don’t know. I haven’t been in trouble since sitting on the stairs in time out”. She’s like the perfect kid...well she’s getting a little mouthy but she IS 13. I actually remember the day I put her on the stairs. It was just before I went to the hospital the first time. They had been bickering for like a week and suddenly my daughter had enough and went right for him. I put both of them on their staircases. They were 9 and 6 little old for time out but that was pretty much the most aggressive punishment I had in my arsenal. This was before I could simply shut off their phones and WiFi.

I am good. Had a small scare yesterday cleaning out some rusted out steel wool at the sink and went to A&E cause my hands were cracked at some places. She said kitchen stuff is not risk, and that my tetanus booster was good for another 10 years. So that ended well.

Will be having a holiday dinner with my wife and partner tonight.

I watched a ton of those stings where these pervs actually drive to a stranger's house in the hope of having sex with 13 year olds. There's a series called To Catch A Predator on NBC'S Dateline.

I'm not sure what I have but I'm sick. Really bad cramps and terrible itching and hives. It's too early to suffer. I think I'm allergic to this blanket. I was up scratching all night.
