I'm not doing well at all. I just don't know what else I can do with my psychologist. I've only seen him twice, next Monday will be our 3rd session. But the things I need, I don't think he can help in those other regards. My life is a wreck.

Ah I’m sorry to hear that. I thought you two had hit it off.
I hope you are able to find what you need.

I'm off of hospital tomorrow.

Don't know what I'm gonna do. Probably just sit around the house.

What are your concerns with your psychiatrist? It's hard to find a good psychiatrist these days. I typically go through three before I reach a good psychiatrist.

You know what makes me happy? Seeing someone succeed in life despite overwhelming odds.
One of my fb friends is someone I’ve known since they were 7. He’s my exes little cousin...I used to babysit him lol. Anyway. His home life put the dys in dysfunctional. *Most* of that family is the kind of white trash you’d see on low rate reality shows. It didn’t really look good for him.
Fast forward 25 yrs and he friends me. He works full time at a good job, he’s married with 3 kids, every other post is about his kids. He does Boy Scouts and gymnastics and karate...they go on family vacations. Just really good stuff. And he has somehow managed to shield his kids from the scum of the family.

It's been a while since I posted, so I figured I should get online and see what's going on and provide an update. I have felt stable for two or three weeks now. It's been a long term desire of mine to try and join the navy, and a friend of mine is very supportive. I have another friend who isn't so supportive and my Mom doesn't seem supportive either. I would have to go off my medications. They say that I am stable because of the medication, but I think they don't want me to succeed. I'm almost too old, so the clock is ticking. I have to go off medication, lost weight, and somehow prove that my diagnosis isn't right. It's a long shot. I have had a lot of hospitalizations and have had multiple electroconvusilve therapy treatments over the years. But, I haven't had any serious hallucinations for several weeks now, so it's possible I'm cured. Right? My friend and my Mom say no; but, what if they are just plotting against me so I don't reach my life goals?

I've got a great psychiatrist. She's dont everything she can do, and I wont see her for 4 months now.

I was refering to my psychologist. There's only so much this guy can do, let help me understand, see it from different perspectives. Which perspective is the right one. But my social life is a total wreck. I live in too small a town.

Oh, I see. I have problems with psychologists too. I always eventually just stop seeing them; I'm not sure if that is bad, good, or indifferent. In my opinion they can never understand. I am not seeing one currently, and my last psychiatrist meeting, he told me I need to start seeing one. I don't want to.

I also understand small town life. I lived in a very rural area in TX and it was toxic for me. I really don't have a social life; but, I'm okay with that. I'd rather just be left alone than spend time worrying about going out, having company, or incessant phone calls. Most of the time, I just want to be left alone.

I hope you are able to work things out with your psychologist. I wish had some advice to help with the social aspect, as it seems this is important for you. Maybe you could find some group therapy and make friends with people in group?

You’d be surprised at how they can reframe things

Also, my roommate said she wont be paying rent until Friday the 11th. She then turned off the tv and left for her bedroom to avoid me I guess. Also, she didn't go to work either.

So basically I walked in and grab the rent notice on the door, and then asked her if she went to work, and there was a double no. I can see how that would be uncomfortable with her.

I haven't seen him in like a month and a half, maybe even two months.

I feel like Epimetheus, Prometheus brother. Prometheus is the god of foresight, who can see in the future. Epimetheus sees things as they already have passed, and then reflects and understand things. I make mistake after mistake and see things too late. I've done some incredibly dumb things over the past 7 years, and I haven't understood them until their in the rearview mirror.
