Morning. Eating breakfast. I finished work at 9! When I’m done I’m going to snuggle up with dogs and some serial killers by candlelight. Hopefully get some sleep. The last couple nights have been rough.

Woke up highly agitated and anxious but I feel better now. I took a shower and talked myself through it. Now I'm relaxing with my cats and have a butterscotch scented wax cube meeting

I slept good. I needed that so bad. I cried and cried yesterday.

Went to the library for awhile to get out of the house for a bit. Checked out some books and DVDs

Kitten is acting like I left her for days. I was gone maybe half an hour or 40 minutes lol she's been extra extra attached lately , she normally is but it's like ten times that now. She's on me purring loudly and snuggling like crazy.

Just chilling at work today. I didn't think my supervisor was coming in (she's been sick) so I ran the checks and then she came in lol! She was glad that I ran them, and not mad, so that's good. I'm super duper depressed but the hallucinations have been better. So that's something. I'm pretty sure I was hallucinating a spider for like a week. It wasn't stressing me out though. It was just there and I kept seeing it. But I haven't seen it today. I slept pretty good. Of course I'm still tired because I am always tired. Stupid depression. My motivation is pretty low too. I need to read or do something this weekend (I am going to the opera at the movie theatre to see Carmen--and then of course there's the SuperBowl! Which I will watch with my Dad). I ordered a Latin/English Bible but it's not coming in until the middle of February. Hopefully I'll be up for reading then. What is everyone up to? HUGS if anyone wants one! Kit

Having a tough day. Today is the 6 year anniversary of my dogs untimely death. Sunday will be 1 year without funny face and Tuesday will be a year without Sophie.
Ghis month will also mark 5 years since my final hospitalization. Also the month I was hospitalized 1/2 of in 2 different stays.
Ugh...
Also Valentine’s Day. I hate it. If I had it my way we wouldn’t celebrate. But my husband loves any excuse to buy me chocolates lol. My kids so look forward to it...don’t know what I’m getting them this year. Getting my husband a personalized man cave sign for his newly built shed.
Good thing my bestest is coming over. I could use the break of sad stuff.

I was watching My 600 lb Life. This guy went to therapy to deal with his issues of eating. Hes gonna write a letter to his mom about how he feels.

I think im gonna do that once i get out of her financial hold she has on us. Like she pays for 300 of our rent.

Hey everyone, how are things going?


I'm fighting back against depression and lack of motivation. Went to band regardless of how I felt, just finished showering despite not wanting to do it. Listening to Finnish music. I was at band and our new member harmonizes sooo well with our other singer. They're so much better than me at this.


I'm taking my wife's surname very soon. Like this month some time. I am going to also change my middle name to something more Finnish-ized of my current one. Finland doesn't differentiate though between first and middle names. It's all considered "first names" and in official business they allow you to pick a preferred one. But yeah. I get agitated that when I am able to practice Finnish, the minute someone sees my ID or Kela card its evident I'm an English speaker, lol. (my last name is the dead giveaway) Oh well. Idk. I'm anxious. My wife and partner say I'm being rational and not unrealistic.

I'm just at work. Trying to get distracted or absorbed into work but I don't have a lot to do...though my boss might come up with something. Not feeling well at all today. SUI thoughts. So I might be making a trip to the ER after work if things don't improve. No PDOC or T appointment available. So I'm like, crud...probably gotta spend the $250 to go to the ER. But I still have two and a half hours of work left and I just took some anti-anxiety medication so hopefully I'll start feeling better and not have to go. I have some things planned this weekend so I'm trying to look forward to that and not let these thoughts rule my head. Kit

Well maybe I should not be so hard on myself. I watched news on Yle TV1 online, and I really tried to work through what I was listening to and reading. I understood the gists of all the news reports. Maybe I know more Finnish than I give myself credit for. Just need to build on vocabulary and grammatical knowledge. One step at a time.

You're doing great! Learning a new language takes a lot of time. Especially since you're learning one that's not Latin based, so very different from English.
