They say it’s free on the site too but there is a monthly fee for the service and that’s a free add on once you have the service.

Hey Kit, you're doing a great job keeping up with everything! and the fact that you haven't self harmed is awesome, I know it can be very tempting. I used to SH for many years and know it's difficult to stop. I'm not sure why your therapist said that but remember that you're doing it for yourself and it's an important goal

first there was a staff member come **** faced drunk. we told other staff and they didn't do **** about it!

then i had a visit from my sister and my stepmom when i was in there. they turned them away because they didn't come 15 minutes early for the visit... despite them calling BEFORE hand BEFORE it was 15 minutes early and they were extremely rude. **** Rivers VIsta **** that place.

**** guys...my Henry has Lyme disease Roll Call: 146
I just ran to the vet to have the quantitative test taken. It tests the level of infection and for the million other tick borne illnesses. Just in case he has something else too. I won’t hear anything back until Saturday.
I’m so sad. He was tested and vaccinated against Lyme last year and has been wearing the Soresto collar since. He is literally afraid to be outside. He spends maybe 10 minutes outside a day. Seriously he does his thing and bolts back to the door.
I’m sick with the feels.
I ****ing love my dog like he’s human.

Thanks @SlumberKitty.
Yeah once they have the quantitative results they’ll decide how to treat him. Most likely Doxycycline for a month.
He has zero symptoms so it must be early. I really don’t know all that much about it. All I know are the horror stories...my aunts dog died when her kidneys shut down, etc. it’s extremely common here and about 2/3rds of people I know have had it.
So sad.

Yeah it can be really bad in humans.
My aunt, cousins, friends, etc all have had it.

Thanks @Blue_Bird!
I’m glad he’s doing well. Labs are one of the breeds prone to the worse parts of Lyme. It’s weird.
Hoping the same for Henny

Okay. Getting out of my head.
Making marinated steak tips with carmelized onions and broccoli casserole.
I hope they come out good. It’s my first attempt at a kinda BBQish marinade.
Bought Henny a whole rabbit for dinner.

Went to the doctor today. Just regular check in. He explained to me that me seeing the psychiatrist last week was more for his sake than mine. He wanted to be sure how to treat me and to see if any changes needed to be made.

So no changes to make except lifestyle ones. He said I could try upping seroquel to 150mg see if that helps. He doesn’t want to start messing around with my meds since they’re helping a lot. I’m excelling at work and he doesn’t want to start screwing with anything unless we have to.

He said in the long run we could consider switching seroquel for abilify. Make me less groggy.

Doesn’t really help me with my OCD tendencies and that though.

I made it through. I finally was able to pick up my Geodon. phew. I couldn't sleep last night, and my stomach felt like it was in knots, my stomach was clenching all day. It's easing up now though. My pdoc also gave me 2 refills so that was cool. That was tough.

Talked to a friend on facebook. He seemed disappointed in me because I never want to hang out, and asked if we were just internet friends. I just don't enjoy company like I use to. Now everything takes so much effort, and im not interested in anything lately since the Seroquel. I can't see my pdoc until may 31st which sucks. She's good though, she understands that flat affect is an awful way to live.

On a side note, today was the first day in a long time that I haven't had any alcohol.

I listened to NPR's Fresh air. They had a half hour special on the history of psychiatry and how it evolved to sell drugs for mental illness. They didn't go over anything schizophrenic related really, but how the pharmacutical companies boomed with the advent of SSRI"S, specifically Prozac. Also, because lithium is an element, they couldn't get a patent on it. Also, how now pharmaceutical companies are trying to steer away from drugs because there really hasn't been a really new class of drugs out for quite sometime and everything is becoming generic, which they can't make money off of. I have a hard time believing in that last bit. Also, the woman being intereviewed studied the history of psychiatry which was interesting, and also how powerful the placebo effect is.
Thanks for this!

I believe they’re switching from drugs to biologicals like antibodies and other complex molecules.
