Sometimes long enough to work is longer than the amount of time you need to know it won’t work.

When I was on seroquel I almost passed out on day two.....it was a no go.....this sounds like a similar situation.

Intuition is one of the most mysterious things about our humanity. Artists use their intuition every time they create because in one sense of the word it's emotional and wise in a prophetic, divine way.

In another sense, there is rational intuition like our knowledge of time and space. We can't see time or space, but we just are certain that it exists. We know it not empirically, looking outwards with our peepers, but rationally, with our mind in an automatic sense as if its prewired into our thought to assume this is the case.

If I understand your words right, I agree with the first part. The second part though, I don’t think it’s prewired but it’s based on our experiences.

Hume and the empiricists would agree with you, but Kant would disagree.

I thought i saw a picture of my ex girlfriend and my heart just dropped. It looked exactly like her, exactly. Well, it's good that I still have some emotions after all.

They told me this morning that we're back on lockdown (I think we were off it for maybe a few days but I have no idea.) So far, for two more weeks because a staff member tested positive for covid.

I'll be lucky if I ever get to vape again. Or breathe fresh air, or flowers.

If this may become a philosophy thread, I would say I agree with Kant here. Just because I don't think time and space are empirical. We don't "know" about time and space because of experience. They are conditions of possibiltiy (transcendental, might we say?)

Anyway, wanted to say happy birthday to Blue_Bird as well!

Thanks for the happy birthdays everyone! I had a decent day. My sister got me McDonalds, a card and a $50 Xbox gift card. I spent most of the day watching Criminal Minds.

I’m feeling kind of low though, it has nothing to do with my birthday, that was good. It’s just stress and wanting an escape from it.

I just have to meditate, pray, and practice mindfulness as much as possible and I’ll be okay.

I haven’t heard from my care manager in forever. Idk what’s up with that. It has to have been at least like a month and a half or 2 by now since we last talked. She used to check in with me regularly. It would be helpful now since

I lied in bed for 3-4 hours. Finally I got up. Couldn't focus. Thought about taking an extra vyvanse. I listened to this song

I cry

And now I can focus a little

Reading about the attachments theory and how it influences our relationship with other people while having lunch. Then will take a shower and do yoga.

Got my labs back from the blood work I had done on Monday. Most everything looks good. One liver enzyme is elevated, but it has been for the last several labs and both regular PCP and Pdoc said not to worry about that one (but I do--otherwise why would they test it?) and even though my glucose had gone down a little, my A1C went to 5.8 which I think is pre-diabetes! Ack!!! My glucose was in the normal range though. So IDK why that shows that. My labs look pretty good otherwise. My good cholesterol has come up. I guess I do need to take the dang supplements which are huge pills. Funny, I was looking at the cholesterol medication this morning, and it should be a 30 day supply but I've been using the same bottle for a while now. I looked at it, and it said 90 pills. Somehow the pharmacy gave me 90 pills instead of 30. Then I wonder why I have all these extra bottles of stuff laying around!

I feel kind of catatonic today. It's hard to move. I could just sit for hours and not move. Not good because I am at work. At least I am at a desk.
