Yeah even in the terms of symbolism, that's what shamans use. They're healers.. They might convince you of some crazy stuff but so what if it heals your mental state?

Medications can be used.. They are material made out of 99.9999% empty space as well.. That's just physics.

But there's something called "placebo" and people overlook it. So what if it's nonsense? If your brain can trick itself into healing a certain illness, that's good. There's also "nocebo" effect;

"A nocebo effect is said to occur when negative expectations of the patient regarding a treatment cause the treatment to have a more negative effect than it otherwise would have."

So it depends on how you look at things.. But if someone is suffering - Seeing things that aren't there, that can cause problems leading to harm to self or others.

I do like life. It can be absurd and scary but we're strong people - Take our meds, change the meds, live the best life that we can - Learn from mistakes, etc etc.. And love.. Sometimes hate.. But it's karma. Karma also doesn't exist in certain contexts and philosophical perspectives.

Everyone will be ok.. @ Reader of this ily!

much love bro. I try not to think too much into things... sometimes things don't need much explanations.

I must write meaningless nonsense when in pain. The ease of suffering is all that counts =]

I'm trying out bumble dating. I got a like and we just started to conversate. She's a little chubby but in the right places lol I'm really attracted to her! She only lives 20 miles away which is super cool. A librarian. I told her what I'm reading and she had absolutely no idea what I was talking about which is about normal. I confessed my job on the site so i don't get discrimination when I actually talk about it. I'm really sick of that.

I read a comment where a famous romantic wrote that we only have 3 stories in us. Another said that we repeat them throughout our entire lives. I've always wondered about this. I feel like the short story I just wrote one of mine for sure. Also, I already need another bookcase.

Now I’m all angry and made myself angry. Over not much really. Just sick of these people with psychology and social work degrees telling me I’m wrong about facts/issues of people with schizophrenia. Really am. I’m thinking back to my old boss but I’m also thinking about my therapist. tho she is someone who didn’t tell me I was wrong. Unless her trying to divvy me towards DID wasn’t it.

Maybe you could write a book on this experience.....it might educate the professionals as to how they can invalidate someone’s experience......

Simply in terms in psychosis and in physical pain.

Had a dream and my dad was there it was operation something. The dream changed and I was in the 60s type looney bin.

I blacked out all the windows with curtains reminds me of my childhood where it had to be pitch black in order to sleep.

I read an article that sounded just like me. Now I am worried and probably taking things way out of context.

Not sure if they are online available or not, but CNN has a whole series on the 60s that was really superb. Might be able to find it online. Quite excellent.

That’s what I’m trying to do. I’m actually working on a second, SECOND book (otherwise known as a 3rd book lmao) about my personal experiences.

Well, apparently my awesome, ethical prsident was informed the Russians were paying bounties for dead US soldiers in Afghanistan and did nothing, because he worships his idol Putin. Such a great human being. Cannot wait until his first day out of office when he is indicted on 300 sepaarte felonies in New York state. That will be a great day for justice and human rights.

Going to try to clean today. Can't get much else done, but the kitchen is a mess and I just have to clean.

Hugs and love to everyone!!!!!!!

Just wrote this on my fb:

People tell me I should go into psychology in college, or something similar. All the time.
Let me tell you why, out of all the majors I’ve been through why I haven’t, and why I WON’T ever.

My intention isn’t to build a career directly in the mental health field. There’s nothing for me there. I don’t want to build a career directly into a field that I will, I feel like, steer me into a direction that is laden with old systemic theories and functions. This is mostly coming from a consumer point-of-view, because I have been in the mental health system for two decades and counting. The channels that someone has to go through to get where they should be in recovery is usually watered down with old systemic functions. Which makes things a lot harder and a lot longer for the person to get where they need to be in recovery. Of course, you can do other things with a psychology degree, but the inherent amount of the field of reach and leverage you will be able to do is relatively small, because of the functions that have been in place for decades. The availability of resources that are both demographically available and recovery-oriented are small. The TRUE recovery-oriented resources. Which is a whole other conversation.

My end goal is to reach those not only that are just entering the system for help, or have been there for awhile with no avail in succinct help, but to reach those that are young, old, in-between, minorities, lgbtq+, Christian, Hindu, Jewish, muslim, etc EVERYBODY that ISN’T getting the resources that they need to reach and get their demographic, economic, social, etc need met, and quickly. And I’m choosing to do that in a way that is unconventional.

I see...that can be hard to dive back into the past like that, but it might also help you resolve some things. I really think that the T’s often think they know more than us and that they’re somehow immune to the experience of MI, even though it can happen to anyone. My T at least took the perspective of not being an expert. Of course as we know MI can happen to anyone so they are not immune. Pdocs have always been less emotional with me but they still have strange rules, not the least of which is not recognizing that every one is different due in part to genetics. The fact that thy think they can classify based on symptoms is itself a bit off. Covid and the flu would be the same under their style of classification so we’d never have a cure.
