I'm having trouble with auditory hallucinations lately. The 400 mg of Seroquel was working fine then some new stressors popped up and the Seroquel wasn't working well. I have problems with suspiciousness. I am suspicious of my upstairs neighbor making noise at night and saying bad things about me. Every day lately I
debrief myself saying it isn't happening and to relax. I have a white noise machine,
wireless head phones and earplugs for nighttime. I have a call out to my doc to adjust my medication. Any ideas about reducing my suspicion?

It sounds like you’ve got the bases covered...it may just need to be a med change....it’s really hard to deal with this stuff rationally. Do you have someone you can reality check with or a microphone on a device to record the “sounds” and verify they aren’t there?

So do “normal” people have motivation when they have these biological and social needs? I mean if I’m hungry I’ll find something to eat but there’s clearly something wrong with the social needs side and when it comes to more complex needs like education I’m not doing nearly so well as I used to...

I just love learning. Textbooks and technical books. I read a lot of non-fiction. For Dummies books are great.

There are theories that neurotransmitters play a big role of motivation so if you have problems with neurotransmitters, you’re probably going to have some problems with motivation even for basic biological needs.
