Downloaded "Brave" browser - It's an extended browser to Chrome. It blocks ads and is faster.

I have everything all organized more. It's pretty neat.

Last night I was working on custom map modding for a game. I can’t believe I did it. I mean I know why I can’t but I don’t too. I always seem to surprise myself with technology or anything really. That I’m able to do the stuff I do. I truly can NOT find or know anyone else besides my dad that seems to be a renaissance person or woman or jack of all trades. Maybe people online but not in person. I don’t quite understand why more people aren’t versed in multiple things. Not even a little bit.

When I found out fiancé had a gaming computer I thought he was really smart with that stuff. Turns out I am more than him.

Also, it seems as if I go through many days of depression and then maybe 2-3 days of hypo. All while hearing stuff daily whether depressed or not, or hypo or not. Also delusions. It never turns into mania tho. So maybe I am schizoaffective. Not that I ever doubted it!

I think my dad might be even more of a renaissance man than even yours....he grew up on a bit of a small farm and helped run his dad’s gas station. He can repair anything with parts from a car to a furnace to a nuclear power plant. He is like Macgyver but gets offended if you say that because so much of what macgyver does wouldn’t work irl. He’s got computers down as well. He once built his own TV from components just for fun. We’ve never had a service guy for anything....if a sink needs to be swapped or whatever he just does it....

I consider myself fairly renaissance as well.....I definitely fixed a couple of things on my car with guidance....air conditioner on the old beretta and battery issues with the Volvo.....when the battery died I remember standing out in the rain with the AAA guy and he said nobody ever stayed to watch they just went inside...seriously I want to learn. Now I’ve got both science and library background going because I love to learn new things. I spent ten years learning how to cook anything. So yeah, you’re not alone but I get what you’re saying...like most guys I’ve dated don’t even know how to open the hood on their car, lol. I paint and do photography, blog and even have an IT certificate....

Idk. My dad grew up on a farm in Mississippi too. Did everything from milking cows to cleaning chickens. To picking cotton and other stuff. He made his first go kart from scratch at 9 years old and built his first radio from scratch literally too around that time. He knows how to fix everything u said and more. He built chip boards for products for nasa and Apple and other big companies. He was the top engineer at his company for decades in his position. Even helping out other engineers in other positions. He scored the highest on the company math test earning him the highest engineer position in his field at the company. He was an amateur boxer in Tennessee. He plays multiple instruments extremely well and I’m trying to get him to make a CD even. Been trying to. He was a private investigator for his tech company he worked for, for awhile too. He know legal stuff like the back of his hand. He knows how to run real estate, he own multiple houses. Both my parents do on that front.

I mean I can go on and on about him. He has multiple accomplishments under his belt including activism. He went to Washington DC and Arizona multiple times to do it. I mean. I. Can. Go. On. Roll Call 170

Me? I’m good at a lot than most people but not as good as him. I’m trying to be.

Luckily Dustin knows about cars. He knows everything stereotypical of man but his only hobby is gaming and he just works to make money. Don’t understand that. Most people have a singular hobby and that’s it. Like that’s all.

I don’t understand myself. I’m so good at so much but I don’t have a degree yet. I can learn anything on my own seems like but formal education to me, is redundant and boring. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE learning but there’s so much more that can be done than what formal education is teaching. I seem to pick up things extremely easy. I just got to be motivated and have a drive which a lot of times I don’t. Idk why. Maybe mental illness.

My dad scored the top in his class as well by winning a special competition in California....he eats engineers for breakfast because they’re always creating things that can’t be built irl...of course he knows th farm stuff too. When he was in the navy they let him do whatever he wanted so he became the top jet mechanic, the one that they called on when nobody else could fix it. He sings and plays guitar, rides a motorcycle etc. I’d say if anything it’s a draw...

I would say it’s a draw too. Our dads are rare, IMO.

Yeah I think thr car thing is more common in the south, like it’s still a thing....as far as formal education I think you’ll appreciate it more once you get past a bachelors....that’s when you really start to think and learn and you learn from your classmates as much as the classes, it a drawing together of divergent life experiences...actually quite fascinating....we don’t typically use textbooks but articles on relevant subjects and experiential learning....

Omg my mom reads all day too. Besides doing her real estate stuff. It’s usually educational tho. So she says. Like about health and how to improve it, learning languages, etc

My mom was a stay at home mom which was great for me but sometimes I wish she’d done more for herself, she must have read thousands of books but she really wanted to write one.....

I bought a 2 pack and a treat container, from amazon. I got lots of treats already to put in it. I see a lot of potential in xena.

My dad was in the navy for 26 years and retired. He was handy, witty, and really good at trivia and cross stitching. My mom says I get my smarts from him. I miss him.
