I do feel good on the meds I’m on now, so it probably isn’t a good idea to change them. Maybe once I have a year or so of stability under my belt I can think about cutting a few out. I know I’ll never be off all of them. I’ll at least always be on APs and a mood stabilizer. But I think maybe I should just leave things alone for now I guess since I’ve been doing as good as I have been. My doctor is helpful and does listen. I’ve been seeing her for almost 7 years now so she does know me pretty well. Luckily I don’t have any bad side effects from any of them. Just some tiredness but that’s to be expected and is kind of a good thing because it means I actually sleep instead of staying up for days manic. I’ll give it a year then maybe if I’m still doing okay I’ll start slowly tapering off a few of them with my doctors guidance but leave the rest/most important ones alone. I just only recently found a combo that works so it’s probably a good idea to give my body a break from all the med changes I had been through for several months trying to get stable.

Left a message on the nurses line for a refill of my Thorazine since my doctor forgot to send it out. I have enough to get me through till they process the request and sent it to the pharmacy, I just wanted to make sure I don’t run out since I don’t see her again for 2 months.

I get horrible acid reflux from my my meds, like it's almost like throwing up but it's all clear stomach acid pouring out. I don't know what to do about it, it's very unpleasant to deal with and lasts up to an hour to an hour and a half after I take my meds

So sorry Blue_Bird. That sounds terrible. If you can't ask your doctor right away could you talk to the pharmacist? Maybe there is some tricks of the trade they can tell you.

I just called and left a message for the nurse asking if they can talk to my doctor about me switching to the abilify injection and start the process of coming off some of the other meds. I feel stupid because I should have mentioned this when I saw her on Wednesday but I didn't because I thought it was just because I wasn't eating enough before taking the meds but even eating decently before taking them doesn't help

Thanks SK, I think I'm doing everything right as far as eating and whatnot before I take them, I think I just have to get off all the pills and back onto the injection. My doctor generally isn't in the clinic on Fridays but I left a message for the nurse so hopefully they get back to me next week

Worn out from over an hour of throwing up stomach acid. Put up with this two times a day almost every day for wayy too long. Thanks for encouraging me to call my doctor. I need relief from this. I don't want to deal with this everyday anymore it's ridiculous.

The nurse called me back. My doctor isn’t there on Fridays, so he said he’d give the message to her on Monday then her and I can discuss it

I've never had anything rhubarb. What does it taste like?

It’s sour and sweet…..kind of a mild flavor a lot like strawberry but more tart. It’s gotta be cooked to eat.

Wasting asparagus…try writing your thesis for just 15 minutes a day. Then time out. It might take a while but it’s better than not doing it.

I know some people make a rhubarb pie but I've never had it. I usually just eat strawberry yogurt .If I see some in the store that has rhubarb I might try it. Do you suggest a certain brand?

I didn't take the lybalvi today because I didn't want to feel numbed out of my gourd! I don't get it. Olanzapine made me chill but this is like chilled on steroids or something.

I had some kind of pastry that had rhubarb in it, I think it was a danish, it was extremely delicious

Well, dang. Now I gotta try it!
