I have been painting my miniature figures though. Basically just been putting base coats on all of them which is time consuming and nice to do while I’m listening to an audiobook or music. Then I’ll have to actually paint all of them. There’s a lot of them and it’s really detail oriented so it’s gonna take me a long time.

Just want to mention that Dennys Oreo shakes are amazing. I had them a month ago and they were so good. I mainly got them because I was really hungry and Dennys was the only place that would deliver at 4am. Man was it delicious. I might order from there again when I get my tax return just to splurge. I got their grand slam breakfast, a slice of NY cheesecake, and a 2 pack of oreo milkshakes. That’s right a two pack of Oreo milkshakes. Lol they probably thought I was some hungover person ordering at that time of day but I just couldn’t sleep and wanted something good to eat

I can’t wait till my NYC trip Thursday! I have to be ready by 6am cause we’re heading out at 6am. The breakfast is from 9:30am to 10:30am. My first time being in NYC! It’s around Greenwich village. I’m excited!

I slept for 11 1/2 hours last night. Really needed it because I hadn’t slept in around 40 hours.
Today I’m mostly just practicing violin. I have a violin lesson tonight at 7pm. I might attempt to clean my apartment some or I might do it tomorrow. Probably tomorrow. Other than that listening to the Mozart audiobook and watching some anime. Might draw a bit. Good morning. About to study music theory for an hour and do exercises in my music theory workbook. Then I’m gonna start learning a song from the anime Naruto on ukulele. Also gonna walk to the library later to return some books. Then have board game/art day in the community room this afternoon. Then will shower, meditate, journal and practice violin. That’s my plans for today. I’ve been trying to meditate everyday. For at least 30 min.
Tomorrow I have my volunteer shift with the cat rescue. Wednesday I pretty much have the day to do whatever. So I’ll probably be cleaning, practicing violin and ukulele , watching shows and playing videogames and reading. Then Thursday I have my NYC trip! Been incredibly frustrated lately.
I had my food stamps re-certification in December, I filled out my application and sent in all of the documents they requested. At the beginning of this month, I got a letter saying I was denied because "worker will process case/agency delay," which means they are just backed up and haven't gotten to my case yet. Three weeks into January and I still havent heard from them, and it's impossible to talk to anyone at the department of human services on the phone. I really need food stamps to eat, SSI does not pay enough for rent, bills, and food. Just don't know what to do. The one time I managed to talk to someone in the food stamps office they told me that I submitted everything I was supposed to, and I just have to wait until a worker gets to my case. So I guess I just have to wait around, but it sucks. __________________

I’ve developed a really really bad cough starting yesterday. I am finally negative for Covid now though so idk what it is. I’m hoping it doesn’t cause me to not be able to go on my trip. It feels like bronchitis which I used to get a lot in my teen years.
