Hey guys... if any of you are struggling with math, I can help (as much as I can over the internet). I can help with Algebra (or anything below), Algebra II, Trig, Geometry, College level Algebra I and II, and college level Trig. I took Calculus in HS but I don't remember much of it, so I don't think i can be of much help there! I just got done helping my boyfriend through College Algebra, and am about to help him through College Algebra II...Math has always come easy for me, dunno why, but throughout high school and college, I got all A's such as 95-100% for final grades, and I actually really enjoy helping others with it. So if you need any help just ask!

Thats really great that you have a good aptitude in math. Even better that you are willing to help others out. My school days are over but I wish you were around when I was an undergrad! Kudos to you for helping others.

How wonderful for you to offer your talents at math to help others.

Ugh, takes me back to my struggles through a year of calculus for my Computer Science minor along with my accounting major which needed calculus for the statistics. I was so bad at calculus that it kept me out of one position programming ballistics at the company I worked at which ended up being the end of my career at that point. The rest of math came easier, but I was never great at it.

Nice that is came easy for you. I find it interesting what classes are easy for us & the ones that end up being tough

Thanks for the offer. I'm actually taking College Algebra for the 4th time and I'm finally getting it, have been getting all A's on my tests and only 3 weeks left. We're studying logarithms right now and it's actually pretty easy.

Kris...thanks for the offer. Actually, I could use your help! I take the ACT next March. I've done the pretests such as the Explore test in 8th grade and the Plan and PSAT tests in 10th grade. Both the Explore and Plan predict my overall score for the ACT at a 26-28. I do great in English and Writing - 98th percentile there. It's the awful math that's bringing my overall score down. They don't expect us to know the advanced stuff like Calc and Trig, just basic (heh...basic my *****) stuff like Algebra l and ll and Geometry. I know Geometry, it's just the algebra that's killing me. Especially part ll. Can you help?

I should get a tutor in real life, but they're expensive and my stubborn pride is too embarrassed to ask one of the snobby yet smart students. It's not a problem of intelligence so much as laziness. And the fact that I could give two flying shoots about the subject.

Again, thanks so much for offering

I can help you with algebra 1 and 2. I know it will be harder since we are online. However I can do my best. let me know how you want to do it and when. I have a notebook full of stuff I taught my boyfriend in 1 and 2 so I know what is involved in each one and can help you understand it.
