I was wondering if anyone has had an experience in getting a University Degree at a local Community College. I am thinking about entering a Program where I will be getting a Degree (maybe even a Master's Degree) where I would be able to take all of my classes at a local Community College.

I already have my Bachelor's Degree and am thinking about looking into the Master's Degree they offer in Mathematics. I am guessing that the teachers would be from the University who would also be teaching at the Community College.

WOW, well I'm not nearly that only, I'm 31 right now and if I decide to take part in the program I'll have to see what age I am when I start it, I may decide to work for a little while and build up some money.

I went through the application a little bit and it seems like for the program that I am interested in they only accept new applicants for the Fall Semesters so I may try to apply for the Fall 2015 Semester with the hope that I will be able to get a job in the near future and save up some money for it.

I think it's great that you Nicole are in school and you RTerroni are wanting to go back. I started back at community college in 2009 at age 31, finishing my bachelors this coming December at age 37(took a rocky road to get here). Hoping to find a job and praying to get into this one particular evening masters program next year.

To answer the question, I didn't follow the program, but the community college I went to had one of them. It was partnered with a major college about 15 minutes away. They said it I would have been a University student, not a community college student even though the classes would be physically held at the cc. It would be University professors who traveled to the cc each night for class and I would have had access to all University facilities and events just like a normal University student if I chose to drive there. Like the gym or health center and all that. It was a bachelors program, but set up for people who worked full time in the day time and could go to class two nights a week. I think it was a great plan, I just had my heart set on the college I'm about to graduate from.
