When writing that list I keep it very simple. I know that if I get too ambitious with that to-do-list, I am setting myself up for failure. Maybe not put down too many things on the list. Four things at the most works for me.

Is that because of you dont see yourself wanting to live a standard, so-called "normal" lifestyle? Maybe you should consider different paths to find our what works for you in terms of how you want to live your life. In my twenties I did a lot of that. I was really seeking a path that could offer me an alternative to the standard, because by nature I am more of a non-conformist person. And as we walk down different paths, we discover what works for us, and what motivates us.

True! Especially if you not only don't have the motivation but you procrastinate on top of it! Movement in a positive direction is really noticed, I guess. If I manage to at least start something...it picks up its own momentum. But then there;s that getting started thing, again...

Does anyone else find it hard to take showers? Is that a depression thing? Is it lack of motivation? It's like pulling teeth for me to get In the shower

I don't like taking showers either. It could partly be an OCD-ish thing with me...
I like being clean and I like the shower when I'm in it, but I dislike having to do it lol... I was told hygiene problems could be a sign of schizophrenia?? It might be a depression thing as well, yeah...

I've had troubles with motivation lately too.
I even had sessions with therapists on the importance of making and keeping a 'schedule' in the past but then I just mostly didn't do it...

Not sure if it could also be a side effect from decreasing meds, lately I just slept long and didn't bother to get up afterwards until really late, like after 11am. I find it difficult to go sleep in the evening, and to get up in the mornings. (Though I was fully awake at 5 am today, but figured 5 hours to be too little sleep... so I went back to sleep)

I'd like to get 'back on track' and be more productive in my life... I'll have physical therapy next week so that will sort of provide a schedule by itself (sort of dreading it a bit )
Still waiting for the voc rehab (probably next year) though not really looking forward to that either.
I wish I could do more constructive things with my time...

Anyway ((hugz)) to everyone on this thread! I find it helpful!
