How do you guys stop cravings. I have been wanting to cut so badly I start to shake and can't stop. I haven't cut in a week (the longest I've gone). I don't know what to do. I've tried everything I can think of. HELP!!

Ok, here we go... anything to take your mind off SI. Read a book. Watch a TV show you like. Put in a good movie. Take a nap. Take a walk. Donate blood if you can get to an ER or clinic of some kind. Excercise to the point you're ready to drop... that way you won't have the energy to SI. Call a friend or relative you haven't spoken to in a long time so that you'll have a lot to talk about. You got pets? Spend some time with them. You got kids? Take them to do something fun. If no pets and kids, take yourself to do something fun. Post your guts out here. Respond to every single post. Journal. Write a poem or a song. Put in a relaxing CD. You play an instrument? Practice. Participate in any hobby you have. If it gets difficult to resist, take a rubber band and pull it tight around your wrist and snap the hell out of it. It hurts like crazy and it's not cutting. I hope at least one of these things helps. The key is you can't sit there and say "Oh, that won't work." If you do you'll end up SI'ing. Get up and try some of them. Take care ((((((((((icky))))))))))
