All I want to do now is close up and SI. I am finding it hard to express myself on the forums and areas I normally visit. I have been feeling very alone recently. My father is in the hospital and my mother is with him. My SI urges are going up, but I am fighting them because I seeing my pdoc tomorrow. I really do not want to tell him I SI yesterday. I already will need to tell him I SI on Saturday. I need to show some control here. All I want to do though is SI and see no one.

Dear Lea ~ I'm sorry you are going through so much pain and fighting such urges right now. It's good that you have a t. Can you go to the phone and call someone? Dress and go outside? Involve yourself with a comedy show? Go to the "Laughter is the Best Medicine" Group at this forum and read everything they have posted there. ![]() hi lea, beads old T teached us some way to cope with the SI feeligns when they is rely strogn. ONe of teh thigns that work teh goodest is this: get a fat ruberbadn ( not oen of teh flimsy oens u put in ur hair but a REAL ruberbadn) adn slip it aruodn ur wrist. keep it their all teh tiem. when the need to SI hits u pull on that ruberbadn adn lwet go. it will buodnc bak offa ur writs adn u WILL feel it. u will feel it juts liek u 'feel it' wehn u SI. but u wotn rely be hutrign urself in a bad way. beads just thunked her wuodl share taht wiht u. mabe it will help u get thru. hang in their, all of us beadys p.s. wehn peoples see teh ruberbadn on ur writs adn make a dubm commetn like what's it their for, u can just tell them ur makeign a fashoin statement.
