I never realized that pulling hair is a form of SI!!!
I have been pulling my hair for years.. Just last week i was so oeverwhelmed and stressed and scared that I pulled three handfuls of my hair out and then used the tweezers to pull out small hairs on my legs and arms. The next thing I did, I have never done before, at the time it seemed right but the next day when I was hurting and could barely walk from the soreness, i realized it was not the best thing I have ever done. I took the tweezers and dug them into leg, from my knee up to my hip. I have never done that before, like i said at the time it felt right, but later it hurt. I tried to hide it from my hubby. it didnt work. Any thoughts?

Aww, I didn't know that you do that. I sometimes self harm when people bring me down. But thats not the point, the point is that you shouldn't pull your hair out it keeps your head warm in the winter. So what do you think made you stress from doing that? ( e.g. Work, Relationship, Parenting or Big events in life?)

Well I just stressed out from everything, life in general!!! Work, Family, Bills, you name it. That was the first time I have ever actually hurt myself other than pulling my hair.

Well Mel, just remember that we all slip. I'm a long time SI'er. I can say that if you have the will to stop now, do it before it becomes routine. It's an addiction like many other things.
