Things have just been getting worse I'm in such a funk! I'm tired of everything! It's the same thing over and over. And I know everyone is getting tired of me posting but I just need to get it off my chest. It's always the same day over and over again. My kids just constantly fight and I have no help whatsoever. I tell them to stip and they don't. I give them time out, take away things they enjoy, early betime but they just don't care. I've cut twice so far and I'm trying so hard to keep myself from doing it more. I wish tomorrow at 1 would hurry up and get here!

Beleive me I understand about how things feel like they are the same things over and over. You are NOT alone in what you are going through. We are all here for each other. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE......do not cut!!!
When you get on here, find someone to chat through those feelings. And sometimes it acutally helps when you cant see the person, you are more apt to be open. Do not cut...think about your kids....be strong! ![]() |

It is so normal for siblings to fight. One thing that really fuels it is jealousy of the attention that each other gets from the parents. Kids think that there is only so much love and attention and what the other sibling gets comes out of their share. Giving them each positive attention will help with this. Positive attention alone and directing the kids in positive activities really helps to get out of a negative cycle. A negative cycle is when the kids misbehave, you get upset and scold them, etc., they drive you crazy so you try to avoid them, they want your attention and they have come to understand that to get it they need to cause trouble because the cycle has come to the point where this is basically the only time the parent interacts with them anymore. Starting on a positive cycle really helps. Sit and talk with them, play with them, don't yell.

Thank you. I spend all the time with them when they are out of school. And I give them both equal attention. I don't like it when people play favoritism between kids. They are equal. And we spend our days outside ( when its nice out and not raining).

I went to my appointment and I was able to talk to them. My niece came with me so she could watch the kids while I talked to them. She put me on celexa and colonapan. I've been on those before but it was seperate times. And they also said that it might be a good idea for me to be hospitalized so they are going to see what they can do. I go back in 2 weeks.

Thank you. I still feel down. Right after I felt a little better but now I'm back to feeling the same. I'm just really worn out. I'm just ready to crawl in the bed and just cry.

THis sounds like a good start. I'm very glad that you went. So the visit was basically medical and there wasn't any therapy?

Thank you. Yea it was just medical this time. No therapy. I have to wait till next time for that.
