It has been a long time since I have done SI. That said, it is a very difficult thing to do. I tried tonight and it is so hard to cause that kind of injury to myself. It is a signal that it is not what I should be doing. I hope this makes sense. No blood tonight.

Always a good thing. Congratulations! Even though you tried to hurt yourself, you didn't go through with it, and that counts for a lot. I think you're right - your mind or your body is telling you that hurting yourself isn't what you should be doing.

I hope that someday I'm to the point where it's harder to cut myself than it is to stay safe.

Best wishes to you.

pat yourself on the back for not being able to go through with it.....yes it could be your body and mind telling you NO not anymore.. That is wonderful....Yes it totally makes sense....
I too hope someday I will be at the point you are now and find it harder to cut then it is to be safe....right now I can't say that about me at all....so you should be proud of yourself....I am so PROUD of you....
S.I. is very hard

I've had that too... I'm glad you heeded your body and mind and didn't force yourself to SI... a good accomplishment S.I. is very hard.

Thanks all. Another sign that I have made up my mind that no more. That anger was directed toward me and it didn't belong there. Thank you again.
