Do you believe this is true emotionally? That if you don't stop self harming then you can never be well emotionally and mentally?

My saying is "you can never heal without therapy". People go to therapy and work on healing and still slip and self injure. The self injury does not stop healing but not going to therapy certainly will.

i think those things go hand in hand - when you are going through healing self injury may stil occurr - when you have reached a point in your healing when you understand why you did it and can find healthy alternatives to SI then you stop

We all fall over from time to time - it doesnt matter how many times you keep trying to stop as long as you keep trying - and a good T can help with that.

take care P7
