slice n dice is what is on my mind.. i did it first thing this morning and now im wanting it again. it is engulfing me... i want it i need it and right now. sigh.. the cuts from this morning are very shallow and a bunch of small cuts. ok thats about all i have to say... just wanna slice n dice... tryin to get my mind movin in the right direction.. which is not working.. ha go figure.

I can only suggest that you read a good book, something that is far from what you want to do, but is still a good book. Just move your mind to a new place, some thing far from what you want... and just focus. It will be hard, but it is worth it. Getting away from SI was the best thing I could do for myself, and then I don't have to say anything to my treatment team because I was able to move my mind on to my school work... Focus is key. Good luck, and you can do it!!

I can't help but to be very disappointed. From what I know, everyone is doing all they can for you Angel, including me. You have to really want to heal. If you are not going to make the solid effort to get your mind on other more positive things to take the focus off of cutting - I'm not sure that there is anything else that can be done to help you. You are going to have to step up and face your fears and take a deep look at what's inside you that makes you want to harm yourself.

No, it's not easy...nothing in life is. The way I see it you have two choices...continue to cycle the same negative emotions / feelings and continue to get the same results you are getting...or make a solid commitment to yourself to change.

You have to put one foot in front of the other....

If you are going to eat an elephant - what do you suppose would be the best way to eat it????

ONE BITE AT A TIME!!!

And that is how you need to approach tackling your emotional issues.

But as of now I don't see you digging deep enough to make the effort to do so.

I feel it's important to add that IF you are doing all you feel you can - that is only something YOU can know...

it is truly imperative that YOU are honest and upfront about everything to those whom you truly trust and those that are trying to help you.

ok so i didnt mess up after my one slip up... its ok... just a slip up... i emailed my therapist... and im gettin back up.. dusting off... and looking for something better
