I thought that I was better. I thought that the urges to harm myself would go away. And stay away. It's been a month and a half since I wanted to cut last. Yesterday morning I woke up and since then it's all I've wanted to do. I haven't stopped crying. I'm a mess. I don't trust myself. Nobody can come over tonight. I'm terrified I'm going to do it. I can't talk to my dad/mom about it because they'll just want to send me back to the freaking hospital. That's not what I need AT ALL. They don't care what I have to say about my feelings/emotions. I don't know what to do. Help?!

A month and a half without urges, this is great! Any problem usually gradually goes away, so of course you still might get urges.
Anything new come up that you are struggling with? Do you understand why you didn't have urges for 1 1/2 months? Do you have a therapist? I'm sorry that your parents aren't good at listening to your feelings. ![]()

I have no idea why I wasn't depressed and I didn't have any urges. A switch just flipped in my head and I was happy. I do have a therapist, but she'd tell my parents out of fear that I'll continue. I'm kind of stuck. I don't know what to do.

Having urges but not acting on them isn't a bad thing to talk to your therapist about. You need to tell your therapist so that you two can work on this.
