Davey you have everyone here to spend new years eve with. I have no one with me to spend either so here i will spend it. You have not went out of mind here. I am sure if u took a leave for a few weeks someone will post in general weres DaveyJones. Beleive me we care.

I'm sorry that you feel abandonned. We are here for you but I know it is not the same. I know you would like someone close to you. Maybe you could make a call to someone. Maybe some people you know also feels alone right now. I'm just trying to help here. I'm so sorry you are alone.

I'm alone of course because of circumstances of my own making...I understand that. I don't deserve any sympathy, though I do appreciate all your concern and love. If I hadn't completely screwed up my life time after time after time, I wouldn't be in this mess.

I don't know what I would do without you all here.

I think that sometimes life is not just the way it is purely b/c of you 'messing it up' or creating your own circumstances... things happened, you had your reasons, you may have learned something... the point is, you're trying to deal now the best you can and you have made great strives and hopefully one day, this day won't seem like such a huge burden anymore... new year's can feel quite lonely even if you are surrounded by people, and even if you would have doen everything 'right', who's to say new year's would be any better? it's still anxiety provoking, depressing, stressful, and if you ask around, more than enough people are just trying to get it over with... I hope that the other 363 days won't be the same, at least not w/ the same amount of pressure...

You're one of my bestest buddies on PC! I still think the media puts WAY too much emphasis on how Christmas and New Years should be....NOW I'm inundated by Valentine's stuff when I venture into the grocery store.

Even though I stayed home last night voluntarily (mainly because I feel too ill to dress up and do anything) I've been in a "thinking about the past" too much lately and, in retrospect, *almost* wished my former husband and I had not divorced.

I know it's not the same to receive a virtual hug when we all need some RL hugs....but this is the best I can do right now: {{{{{{DaveyJones}}}}}}
