I would suggest to never stop trying to get better. I would find another therapist. No wonder you feel bad, you have given up.
My daughter had terrible food allergies, she could barely eat anything. Doctor after doctor kept telling me that there was nothing that they could do. I never gave up. I found an alternative doc who cured her food allergies. At 5 1/2 years of age my daughter was finally able to eat everything for the first time in her life. I have never given up ever for any problem that I have ever had. I've solved all of them............

Sannah is very wise, newtus. But it is much easier to "never stop trying" when doing this for one's own child--doing it for one's own self is (for some mysterious reason) infinitely harder for folks like us, huh?
Do you have a good imagination, newtus? Can you become the child of your "self"? I befriended her as my (imaginary) friend in jr (middle) school and named her Susan MacGillicuddy. I was her BFF. I really was too. |
