Today is the third day since I last cut myself. That's a long time for me. But the longer I go without cutting the harder it is to remember why I wanted to stop. Because, honestly, I don't want to stop. I like the way it makes me feel, and I love to see the blood. And that's all I can think about ATM - that I love it.
Does anyone else have this problem?

Yes I have had that problem. I guess in the same way people get addicted to exercise, drugs, cigarettes, the effects of SI can be addictive.
Well done for being on day 3 - I know it is really tough. Soup

It helps to have a list of why you want to quit cutting. Even better is to put it on top of your 'tools'. I know there are a bunch of things in the link of reasons not to. Copy any of those that apply to you and print it out. It's hard to focus on the reasons you want to quit when you know that there is instant gratification easily at hand.

The only thing that worked for me when I quit was knowing that people would worry if they knew what I was doing. That was it.
I never wanted to stop for me. I wanted to keep doing it forever, but I knew I couldn't. You aren't alone with this <3

I have no helpful suggestions other than SI is an addiction. You can count your clean days and have the list of other things that help you feel better. *hugs*
