I hurt myself again tonight.

I was feeling very self-hating. I wanted to punish myself for being so stupid.

So I did it.

But after, the usual feeling of relief and calmness, wasn't there. All I felt was pain. I never feel the pain. But tonight I did.

I whispered "why do I do this to myself?"

Now I just feel, in-shock from it not working for the first time ever. I feel so stupid.

dont beat urself up about it. we all slip up once in a while. you know that it wasnt a good thing to do, and you are beginning to see that it is not really making you feel better. yes it is immediate relief sometimes, but in the long run... not so much. that is progress (seeing that it wont really fix ur problems... that any way you look at it, it is only hurting you). you dont deserve that. do you have a t?

Hi, Abby. I'm so sorry you are in such deep pain. Hurting yourself is the most alone feeling. You don't deserve to be hurt. You deserve to be safe.may angels surround you.
