So limiting their info helps by keeping them less protective? Do you understand why else you limit their info? (If you don't want to discuss this, this is fine. I just think that it is important to understand why we do things. This exercise is for you.)

I just want something to be MINE. My mom used to bug me to hang out with my friends. I think she liked some of them more than I did. And I'm homeschooled so she's in charge of all of that.
Even if I like something when I'm forced to do it it be ones tedious. So I just try to keep my parents out of anything so they can't force me to stop or force me to continue. Because either way I would hate it

All of this makes total sense.
