I feel like such a mess right now, because I was talking to this guy and things were wonderful. Then he goes and gets back with his ex. So when he told me, I just threw my phone on the sidewalk and the battery came out and all. But im so confused because at first he was talking to me like nothings changed. Now hes ignoring me. And with all of this, brought on a wave of stress and anxiety. And I deal with hard times by scratching my arms to peices. So I am currently trying to hide it all. I hate to be that girl that hurts herself over a guy, but its more than just him.

I'm sorry
Do you have a counselor or someone who's already helping you and you need more help, or is it that you think you're getting to the point where you think you need to start getting help?

Sorry that your emotional pain is so strong...... I can relate.

I am sure that you know that harming yourself is not solving any of your problems. I fall into those same habits (I am a cutter). Yet, finding a better way of coping seems either impossible or "unsatisfying".

I would recommend seeing if you can get into DBT therapy. I think it could greatly help you. If cost is a big issue - call your county social services and see if they can recommend someone (often these can be subsidized by the government).

Hugs to you.
Thanks for this!

Wow! Thanks!! And im glad that im not alone in cutting. And I definatly agree on coping to be non satisfying. I feel like when I cut, I release something inside. But shortly after, the pain swells up again.
Again, thanks!!

One thing that has helped me, is just folding paper stars. It's just an activity that provides creativity and is something that I can just zone out on.
