Hey everyone! I know I haven't been online in quite some time after my incident in March from stabbing myself.

Well I just got released after a week stay in the psych hospital for cutting on my incision last week. Never expected to actually be put on a M1 hold for cutting, but I'm out now. Saw my T on Friday when I was released, and he warned me that if there's any indication I'm even messing with my surgical/open wound, he'll be forced to recommend me to go back in since I've already been hospitalized a month ago for it being infected.

Anyway, just wanted to check in.

I am glad that you are safe and hopefully in a better place.

What is a M1 hold?

It's a 72 hour hold. I was put on the hold in the ER, and then I didn't agree to sign in voluntarily at the hospital, so they placed me on a short term certification. I just freaked out and wanted to go home, since it's the first time I've ever been admitted.

Okay, thanks for the clarification.

Did the hospital help you?

I don't think it helped too much. The groups were helpful, but that's about it. My stay was a huge mess, my husband threatened a lawyer if they didn't release me. So it definitely wasn't as beneficial as it could/should have been.
