one day.
had a meeting with a psychiatrist, support worker the other day for work (i volunteer in the mental health field) and i can feel gazes on my bandaged wrist.

I'm not going to go as far as to say that the medicine is specifically what made the difference, but I haven't self harmed (not to limit to cutting since my last "episode" was more intentional non-lethal overdosing) since just before starting them 2 wks ago. It's nice not having any fresh or healing wounds on my body.

JoBo, congratulations on the two weeks free! You did really well. It is a shame that ice didn't work this time, but you did well to try a coping skill that had worked for you in the past.

2 months, 2 weeks, 2 days. Hanging on in there! I'm keeping going by thinking of short sleeves this summer.....and I remember as I write this, that there are many walking wounded who will never wear short sleeves, or show their legs, or tan their tummies. And I know that you are all so brave, soldiering on, bearing all the glances and sympathetic smiles. Sorry, bit emotional now. Hugs to everyone who wants them, I've been saved by hugs on here!
