The last few days, I've had a few moments when I was wanting to cut. I usually try to tell myself that I'm fine and that I'm just trying to get attention. I've felt a little numb combined with a bit of self-loathing. Again, I usually try to just make believe everything is OK. So I'm going to try to change my usual pattern and admit I'm not OK and that something is up. I'll text my therapist and honestly try to check what I'm feeling and what's going on with me right now.

Good for You for recognizing that you have a problem and deciding to check into it. Sometimes it is hard to make that decision so I am proud of you for doing it this time.

I did e-mail my therapist and I have an appointment scheduled for tomorrow. I'm really hopeful because this feels so different from what it's been like in the past when I started feeling bad. I haven't felt as out of control.

I'm very proud of you for taking that first step and realizing something was up and contacting your therapist! Please stay safe and make sure to speak what's on your mind. Once again, I'm very proud of you!
