I yo used to SI when I was in high school, and afterwards I like to think I got better... but now that I'm older and have even more stressful situations in my life I'm realizing that I haven't, and that I'm really bad at coping with anything.

I've also had crazy anxiety lately also... that's not something I've experienced before and I don't like it.

I know I really don't want to cut again because it would be embarrassing and Id be ashamed if anyone saw them, but it's literally always in the back of my mind. But I really don't want therapy, I don't.

Hi hoopgirl. Congratulations on not cutting all this time. That is a wonderful achievement.

There are many other options besides SI and therapy. What about yoga or creative expression. Sometimes repressed creativity comes out in inappropriate ways if we don't let it come out in drawing or writing

I believe you and I want you to seek other ways than SI. You are older now and have more options open to you.

If things get bad reach out to a community liason so you can reach someone.
