I lasted five days....

13 days off alcohol and fail
Five days without matches and shizizzle...

And today I have to go to the therapist's and explain why I wish I'd NEVER told him about the SI! It involves me not thinking he gets it. He may just lose it and throw me out leaving me in a HUGE black hole which might be enough to make me jump under a train....

I am VERY SCARED!!

Even Xanax isn't helping the fear!

Hi Breadfish

He did the wise therapist "Why do u need to believe that you can't trust me? You KNOW you can" thing.

And we talked about other topics....

Big sigh...

I need to stop, it doesn't help long term and the scarring is UGLY but yet.... But six hours ago I did it AGAIN....

Why don't I just stop???????

"Just stopping" is nigh impossible. If it were that easy you'd have done it already. Are there other things that can help you besides SI? I've recently started using a (red) marker on my skin instead of SIing when the urges get bad. It helps some - not as well as SI, but it's something. Perhaps something like that can help you too?

Also if you were to open a thread in the Psychotherapy forum (under "Treatments and self-care strategies", a few lines beneath this forum) you could maybe get some support and advice on telling your T, or receive some responses on how other people's T's reacted and things like that.

I hope you'll find something that helps you. It isn't easy.
Thanks for this!
