I'm having a really hard time grieving from the loss of my mother. All I care to do is cut, or something worse. I haven't, though, which I guess is good. Yesterday I was walking home and thought about flinging myself down a hill to see if I'd make it. I just want to be with my mother. Ya know? I know cutting would feel so good, but I don't think my mother would want that for me. I really don't know what I'm doing anymore.

Hang in there. I don't have any words of wisdom for you, but I'll keep you in my thoughts. Be kind to yourself.

Maybe you can think about what your mother would want for you? Happiness? Self-confidence? Not hurting so much anymore? If you can and would like to share, I would like to hear what she would want for you.

I am so sorry for you pain. It takes a long time to grieve for someone you have lost. Sometimes it feels like the process will never end. But it will end. You will still miss your mom, there is no getting around that, but you will see in your life the reasons you need to be here and you will find happy times again. Know your mom is always with you, she is a part of every cell in your body. Hold her memory close and seek to make her proud by finding your own happiness.
