((((purple)))) It's so overwhelming, isn't it? What else can you do with these feelings? I'm not telling you not to cut because that wouldn't be helpful, but I'm wondering if you could just delay it? Journal, draw, do a chore, talk to someone, punch a pillow, snap a rubberband on your wrist, physically exert yourself, etc.... then re-evaluate and if you still feel like cutting... well, you make your decision then. Please stay safe.

I am very overwhelmed, irritated and extremely depressed and need some relief, I am trying to hold off, but who really cares if I cut or not, I am no one, I am nothing, I have failed and I need help.

Life is choices purple.
You are obliged to them and by them. You have one now. And you know there is another way. To take this other way has risk but also reward. You know that too... Choices can create us. Please choose help. We care. Lenny

Well, of course we here at PC care! And you know this because you posted for our help.
![]() I'm sorry to hear you are at that point and are having trouble coping with what is going on in your life. What other types of coping have you tried tonight? Posting is good, but not if the focus is on the action you are trying to avoid now... but to change and redirect your thoughts and feelings..and thus maybe your urges. You are worth a lot you know? You are somebody... though you may not think so. Everyone copes in different ways... and there are many ways even here at PC... playing some of the games is one of them... posting to others, chatting.. all good ways to redirect your thoughts. ![]()
