I had a really tough time going out today. It's very warm out and there were girls and women all over the place wearing shorts and skirts. They all had beautiful skin. Any skin besides mine is beautiful. I wanted to be wearing something like that. I look at every female feeling a deep hatred and jealousy.

Pink Soil,

I struggled with acne in high school.

There is so much pressure in our society for young women to look beautiful.

Oh yeah, I get you.

I went out today, in probably the warmest weather weve had so far this year, and I had to wear a jumper to cover up! I was boiling and sweating like mad, but because I was going into town, I didnt want to bump into anyone I knew with a big dirty bandage around my arm, because basically, I have run out of excuses now.
I have a christening to go to at the end of the month with my boyfriend Phils parents... I have two 18th birthday parties to go to after that.

I know how you feel hun. I feel ugly and jealous that some people can just get up in the morning and wear what the heck they like! I feel ashamed that I cant wear nice clothes and I have to cover up in such nice weather, and that I did this to myself, I created this problem in the first place. I hate that I sweat alot... lol. I mean, Im so young and I have the body at the moment to flaunt it... but I just cant.

But I agree with eggshell... We are what we are and if we are going to get by this, we have to keep reminding ourselves that everyone is different, people have their own problems of their own and no ones perfect.

You could try make-up where your marks are, or even skin coloured tights on your legs if needed to try and hide them a bit?

I know it can be frustrating and seem like your going out of your way a bit, but try not to let it get to you too much hun, lifes too short for that
