I am so confused. I got on today thinking it was just a couple of days I have missed coming here and I look and see that it hasn't been since october 25th. Today is the fourth isn't it? No today is the 5th. What has happened to the days? I remember getting Alex dressed for Halloween. I remember crying at work. I remember coming here just to check my PMs because I had to go to work in a couple of minutes. (by the way thank you Tomi for the hugs). I just don't know where the time has gone. My mind is trying to grasp the movement of time but it is failing utterly. I have felt so tired. I just want to sleep. Went to the doctor's yesterday to follow up on a mysterious leg injury. I think it was last week she sent me to get an ultra-sound of the veins in my legs to check for blood clots, nothing showed. I told her how tired I was and now she wants me to get some blood work done. I just want to sleep but now I have to get ready for work again. I have tomorrow off. I will sleep in tomorrow but I have a feeling it won't help.

Carrie:
I'm sending good thoughts your way. Ozzie's right about the thyroid function. I had mine checked in April because I was so utterly exhausted all the time. It is not a routine test, so perhaps you should ask for it. I sure hope things start looking up for you and keep us posted. Take Care of yourself, Kimberly. |

Thanks everyone. I have the slip to go get the blood work up and thyroid is one of the tests. I will go in on monday to get those done. The plan is for me to get the tests then set up an appointment with my gynocologist for my yearly. They work out of the same office so my blood work up will be in my file when I get my yearly and Darla will be able to go over it for me. Sigh. Funny thing is my kitty is taking thyroid medication now. She started about a week ago. She is doing much better.
I hope I am not getting depressed again. That is what it feels like. The lack of desire to do anything at all. The whole no joy in anything feeling even though life isn't really all that bad. The feeling that everything is going to heck when a few minor things happen. The desire to just curl up in a ball in a dark room and never come out. On the bright side I don't feel like hurting myself either. I have this continuous headache too. Most of the time it is easy to ignore but at various times in the day the pain spikes up and I have to rub my head. I used to have this headache when things were really bad for me years ago. I would take tylenol every single day. Maybe I am just sick. My eyes itch and my sinuses are drippy. Maybe it is just a cold. Carrie<font color="blue"> |

I hope your bloodwork shows something that's easy to fix. Take care of yourself! Love, Wendy
