I made it 3 weeks and to the spa without cutting. Only bad thing is that for the first time.. someone asked me... What happened to your arm (scars) and it was my best friend. It jolted me. I just made up some story about cats or kittens and an attack. I have no idea what i really said. Im a horrible liar. I got so paniced. Whats wierd is that I have spent a week with my parents and no one has said anything.. I guess I just always assumed that no one would notice.. kinda like.. I think no one sees me. Im not sure how I feel about that. Bad for lying yes... but wondering if she believes me.. hoping she does. I feel like she would think im crazy if she found out.. She already thinks my family is wierd. Anyways.. Im rambling today.. Guess what. I get to see my T tomorrow YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I have been there. I've lied to my friends because I was worried what they would think. In my case, it turned out that they really understood. Maybe they did still think I "had problems" but they already knew that, and so did I.

I know some people are not as lucky, and the the people they love kinda freak out on them.

I hope that, if your friend does realize you lied, she will understand.

i went to spain with my parents, my sister and her fiance, my mate and his parents... my mate noticed quite early on and asked 'dude whats with the csars on yer arm, from scratchiin yersel or sommik?' to which i just said aye sommik like that... wana go diving? and changed the subject. he is cool with it, he knows im not perfect lol but who is!

when my parents noticed and asked what i had done to my arms i just said oh nowt to worry about they been like that for ages... and went and got a vodka... hehe

my mam and sister work with mentally ill students and my ex (who is good mates with me and my mate in question) has suffered depression for many years so self harm wasnt totally new to him *thank heavens*.

only other time ive been questioned was off a lad at work who pretty much came out with 'eh mark why ya been cutting yourself?!' i was like urrr cos i wanted to. he aint said a word since!

i know my parents are aware of what i do, and that there aware i dont want to talk about it... hence they dont bring it up unless its major and i need their help which is rarely these days!
