Ok, I'm not sure if this is a stupid question or not, but how long are scars meant to itch for? Or are they even meant to itch at all? I have a scar that has itched for a couple of months now and I was just wondering about it.

Edit: added trigger icon.

HI, its not a stupid question. My scars itch me too. I guess it has something to do with the dryness of the healing process? I have had very good luck with an over the counter medication called Mederma. It seemed to stop the itching and it minimizes scars. Try it out if you can. You can get it at any drug store. Good luck.
