I'm the eldest only son, a twin sister, and 2 others. Father died when I was 11. My only Uncle had the operation, and became my 2nd Aunt! That makes me the only 'surviving' male of that generation in our family.
I never understood about playing with cars etc., and I seem to think much more like a lady-sensitive, intuitive, feeling etc. I find it difficult to relate to men, as apposed to women. I almost have to conciously think differently. I did however have a partner for a long time, and like the idea of relations with women, but it is like a mirror image - I feel the women's emotions as much as mine, and it gets confusing at times? Cheers ![]() ![]() |

I don't think you're a transgender person. Despite not being a "macho man" you don't seem to be seeking to become a girl.
Transgender people believe they are a cosmic mistake in terms of gender. You just seem to associate with women more than men, which is fine. Hope this helps. |

hey addcolin,
I think you shouldn't worry about what men or women should be like, and focus on who you feel like you are, on the inside, because it's your own sense of gender identity that counts, not your role in society or what you like to do. I transitioned to female a while ago. The way I looked at it was, I didn't transition to become a woman - I transitioned in order to be myself. It just so happened that being myself came much more naturally to me in a female body. Feel free to send me a PM, I'll be happy to keep in touch with you. Good luck on your journey! |

Thank You so much for this, I now see how to 'think' on this point. I always felt so embarrassed to speak to my Uncle about all this transition and stuff, but you have made me feel more comfortable in myself now. |
