That is a hard one to answer, especially without knowing how long you have known this guy. Pardon my paranoia, but unless you know your boyfriend well and for quite a while, handcuffs might be a little risky. You don't want to put yourself in a position that you can't get out of.

What do YOU want? If I were buying a gift for my girlfriend, I'd be most concerned about what made her happy. After all, its your day. Maybe the xx gender can answer this better than I.

Oh, yeah! Regarding the cuffs and BDSM stuff. One alternative I came up with myself, I'm proud to say (but haven't actually tried it) is, get some long, thin strands of licorice (your choice, black or red), and use them to tie you or your partner up, perhaps attached to a bed post or whatever, but make sure you're able to reach your wrists with your teeth, should you want to break free. It gives you the comfort of feeling submissive and at the other person's will, but in case you want to be free and he won't let you, you can free yourself. Obviously, that will take some time, but it's safer than cuffs.

So he took me to the apartment that he shares with his adult daughter and her Victoria Secret bag in the bathroom gave me an idea.
