how do i explain bisexuality to someone when I dont understand it myself.
it isnt a big deal as opposed to the other issues we have on hand....but God! i wish i was Straight or jus Gay...
it takes a lot for me to say that cuz i really love myself...and i am very accepting of my personality.

What's wrong with being bisexual? Just let yourself feel whatever you feel. I know maybe it's not that easy, but there's really nothing wrong with it.

I feel your pain. When I first came out, everyone was fine with it, but I had a hard time coming to terms with it. I felt like I wasn't 'queer enough'. I felt like I just wanted to be either one or the other. Now I'm okay with it. And when people ask me how I define my sexuality, it just depends on how I'm feeling that day. Sometimes I say I'm queer; other times I say I'm gay; I don't really use the term 'bisexual' anymore, but I usually use the term 'pansexual'. Basically, I like people. All kinds of 'em.
How I used to describe bisexuality to other people is, I am attracted to both sexes. You will probably run into people along the way - queer and straight - who will tell you that bisexuality is not 'real'. Screw them.
Good luck on your journey.

Well I like to explain it in terms of food. Ask people if they like cookies or ice cream, usually the answer is both. Then they'll say something like "well then you just like everyone?" and you say well do you like every flavor of ice cream or cookie? to which the answer is no (mostly) You just like select cookies and ice cream. Both, but particular kinds..
Thanks for this!
