Before you give the usual "it's different for everyone" let me explain. I am a 19 year old homosexual male, however I stopped changing physically at around 14/15 and I seemed to noticeably start puberty at 10/11. By stopped changing physically I mean the following: My shoulders/chest never broadened, I never grew more facial hair then a wispy neck beard barely any on my chin a thin stash and some hair's on some moles with my chin hair and "stash" both being my natural hair colour and everything else was black, I never had sexual desire or pleasure nor romantic desire or pleasure. My jawline never changed and the baby fat on my cheeks not going away, nor did my acne it just moved to my back, not to mention insanely low stamina and emotional apathy as well as no noticeable feeling during masturbation. It's just a tiny tension then oh hey, time to clean up. Even receiving oral sex did nothing other then make me much more tense, still just as bored. Still the same lack of any feeling.

I've always thought that perhaps my growth was slowed for some reason, either emotional abuse or what have you, but my dad is out of my life now. And it doesn't explain why I don't fall in love, or get all hot and bothered at night. It doesn't explain why when I see an attractive male my only thought is "Hello, you seem to be attractive. Have a nice day, bro." if I notice them at all. It doesn't explain my lack of development...does it? I know stunted -physical- growth can cause long term health problems, but can a frozen/stunted puberty cause problems as well? Or am I imagining this and it's all normal, that some people get good genes, some get bad, and some get SOL.

It could be that you just had a break in puberty and it might start back up again soon.

Insanely low stamina can be from depression. Emotional apathy can be from depression. Or, if severe, it could be anhedonia. Anhedonia can be from a severe depression, but can also be a manifestation of schizophrenia (look up "negative" symptoms of schizophrenia and see if they ring a bell; schizophrenia usually debuts in adolescent period).

Or it could be a deficiency of testosterone. Or, a multitude of other things. Maybe you need hormonal injections. At any rate, you need a very thorough physical with a full workup of tests and a thorough psychiatric eval, and - this is key - you need the person doing the medical assessment to talk with whoever does the mental health eval. They have to talk to and update one another.

This is probably an urgent concern, because there might be a certain window of time past which interventions won't help.
Thanks for this!

I actually kinda am over depression. At least while I was on and off my anti depressant (that used to have a major effect when going off for a few days) I was perfectly fine. As far as a physical exam I'd have to ask my mother to take me. Considering the fact that we're moving soon and she was too busy to schedule something for when I passed out and fell down stairs resulting in a period of unconsciousness for 4 hours, I doubt I'd be able to convince her. By physical exam what are we talking about? Like a routine check up or just a normal in depth physical exam or something tailored to this situation? I mean would I just call in to my doc and ask or would I need to find someone specific? I've actually been thinking I had a testosterone deficiency for a while now, never thought to bring it up because what do I know? Just someone with complaints right? <-total sarcasm but I've heard that line once or twice

The daughter of a friend of mine saw a dr in re late puberty. The dr wanted to induce menses with hormones. The mother advocated for wait and see, citing late puberty in her own maternal line plus the girl's extremely tough competitive athletics. They waited. The girl ultimately had menarche without drugs. But she was monitored and the mom was concerned, whilst yours cannot be bothered, so yes, call the dr yourself, explain the situation, ask about testosterone, and good luck!

It would generally be prudent to see a neurologist after that 4 hr episode. You sound fine, describe things well, are coherent etc...so you clearly are not suffering immediate damage, but what if there is something hidden and pernicious going on? You really need a CT scan to rule out damage. And, while it is hard to imagine how that incident and paused puberty might be related, I would tell the Dr when you call about that incident.
Thanks for this!

So I asked my mother with the aid of my therapist and she was open to it ^-^ As for the passing out my friend believed it was a sugar crash coupled with sleep deprivation, considering it was a bolt from the blue and that I hadn't slept since the day before and had eaten a lot of cake and candy from Easter. I'm fairly certain I woke up 4 hours later because I went to bed while unconscious? Not really sure .-.'''

At any rate after we move I'm gonna look around for doc's and hope for the best :>
The best being able to be fixed and can afford it.

I am glad your mom is a good sport. I hope it is fixable. Since you passed out without injuring your head (you didn't fall, right?), you do not need a neurologist.
