So I'm female. I'm pretty happy with my body etc i'm finally at the point where i don't mind the person in the mirror.
but I hate being perceived as female. I hate the societal expectations and stereotypes associates with being female. hate hate hate ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() but i still like some of it, sometimes the clothes, sometimes the visual parts of being female-bodied. i'm confused. it's just a phase right? i didn't use to think about it but now i'm spending more time with guys i desire their way of living more. so much more ![]() i was told "it gets better and less confusing as you get older". the older i am the more i question my gender and sexuality. i don't want either. sex is ew. gender is confining, limiting. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() what is happening to me? |

It's possible that you actually identify as gender-fluid. Not everyone is as easily defined as their genitals. I think that talking with a therapist might help you work through exactly how you're really feeling inside.
Is it more that you're fighting against stereotypes or is there something deeper that is more fluid? Definitely worth investigating I think. And let's be honest, part of what you're likely desiring in men's lives is that we aren't very complex creatures in general. Our social interactions are not complicated and consist of less complex speech and more nonverbal communication. It's not better or worse than how women interact, just less complex. Now as far as society goes, in general guys have it much better. You'll hear guys complaining about some double standards that exist. But I argue that until women get paid as much as men, are judged on what they offer to a situation instead of how they look and are not dismissed from positions just because of their gender, I'm good with any little bonuses women get in society.
