i have never wanted to have sex with a woman...well nor a man either, but its just because im abstient.... but i have an undying urge to be given affection from a woman...and when i see a pretty woman, i always take a double glance, but just in the way that "oh wow shes really pretty" not in " wow, shed be fun to have sex with" im only 18....and i havent experimented with anyone of the same gender. idk if this is just a faze or if i acutally need to experiment with a woman to know that i am either bisexual or straight...id like to consider my liking of woman with short hair as more of an envious like, rather than a sexual liking, but im not sure...
thank you reading bi?

I would accept the urge, as an urge....I wouldn't try to act on it although if it happens naturally then yes it happens and that's ok too.....we all have lots of urges.....it's only natural...... bi?

I agree, urges are urges. Things to think about and consider but not necessarily to act on. Not just with sexual things but with every thing.

I wouldn't read to much into it. If I notice a pretty woman I'll nudge my husband to look up. I think Angelina Jollie (spelling?) is absolutely beautiful. To notice a beautiful human being does not make you, bi, homosexual or straight for that matter.

I think that there are a lot of influences for young adults these days. As if life isn't confusing enough at this age. It seems to be "in" for a girl to kiss a girl. For instance the song "I kissed a girl and I liked it". Girls are kissing girls to impress their boyfriends, which I think is so wrong.

Try not to be persuaded and don't read too much into it. Just have fun being a kid.

The worst disservice anyone can offer you is the process to shame..

You are a young woman with many questions about your world, your identity and your future.

To see beautiful as beautiful in any genre is a gift of perception. To be curious as to how it relates to you is wonder.

My only suggestion would be to take care with your heart. Try to put it in the hands of those that show kindness. And whatever urges you feel and act upon as you discover who you are,,,take care to practice safe sex. It is a strange injustice born in the late 20th century,,to give death sentences for the practice of love...

With care,

Lenny

Dear Sarah,

Many women, share your thoughts. I tend to think, it is fairly universal. Furthermore, I am not sure, any woman is inherently bisexual, heterosexual, or lesbian. These terms, most likely, are only conclusions, reflective of a woman's apparent choices. You don't need to test yourself. However, please be clear, I am not discouraging, or judging, sexual contact between two women.

May all your romantic choices, be fulfilling,

Larry

Sarah the only advice I can give you is to follow your heart and feelings. If the relationship is right you will know it and there will be no question. Don't force yourself into a relationship with a anyone because that is the "right" thing to do according to some people's opinion in our society. On the other hand I don't think that noticing another womans looks would be indicative for sure of you being bi or gay.

I notice attractive, and ugly for that matter, men (yes Larry I am a woman and inherently a lesbian no doubt no question) that does not make me straight. It makes me observant.

I also don't think the reason more girls are kissing girls is simply "fashion" or for heavens sake to impress their boyfriends. I believe young females and in many respects young males are becoming more open and accepting and this may be leading to them experimenting with members of the same sex to see what feels right to them.

Guess all I am trying to say is go slow and don't feel pressured one way or the other just be you.
