I can't sleep.... This time last year I was in a home I loved with my husband of 18 years. Now I live alone in a terrible apartment... I'm so lonely and empty... I just can never fall asleep....

After your supper have a walk. you may walk in side your apartment till your legs are tired. Then go to the bed you will fall asleep.

I too get maybe 4 hours of sleep a night.
I have tried many sleep meds. I have tried melatonin. I do all of the "sleep hygiene" things that have been recommended to me. Still I don't sleep

This may sound silly......Warm milk! There is a ingredient in it that does help you sleep. What the heck its worth a shot! or I have used melatonin too.

Really? I have some here but it doesn't seem to phase me much. Does it take time to buildup? I also have Zopiclone, but I take that sparingly. I fear drug dependency. However, in between the few tiems I take zopiclone, I do not sleep well.

I had perfect sleeping patterns until Peri-menopause struck.
